Welcome to The Golf Marathon—your 19th-hole on the web, dedicated to making the world’s most maddeningly wonderful game a little easier to understand and a lot more fun to play.
Our Mission
Golf is a lifelong pursuit, not a quick sprint, and good information shouldn’t be a gated clubhouse. We aim to deliver clear, trustworthy and jargon-free guidance so every reader—whether you’re chasing your first solid contact or grinding toward a single-digit handicap—can take the next confident step in their journey.

We are Golf Marathon, a once-frustrated novice who turned a borrowed 7-iron and late-night range sessions into a single-digit handicap and a lifelong passion for golf’s balance of skill, patience and humility. After years of answering friends’ questions—everything from “Why do I keep topping my driver?” to “Can I move that leaf in the bunker?”—I created The Golf Marathon as a permanent, shareable answer key.
Why “Marathon”?
Because progress in golf is measured not by quick fixes but by steady miles of practice, learning and on-course experience. We believe that if you commit to the long haul with smart, evidence-based guidance, your personal best round is always still ahead.
